MaU webinar: Thesis work and research life: a story of loneliness, abandonment and inferiority complex

We present an article on how supervisors can help PhD students deal with feelings of loneliness, abandonment and career doubt. We start from quit-lit and stay-lit to discuss how a critical view of academia can be handled in the relationship between supervisor and doctoral student. Review culture, the struggle for prestige and an increasingly pressured academic labour market are some of the aspects we delved into.
